The Casper Coyotes, proud members of the WSHL are pleased to announce the signing of Zach Frasier from Wenatchee, Washington. A 5’8” 170 lb left shot forward, Zach played formerly with the Wenatchee Wolves U18 team. A hardworking, physical forward Frasier will be a welcomed addition to the Coyotes organization bringing high energy and a strong work ethic.
The Casper Coyotes are pleased to announce that David “Smoke” Cole has been named the new head coach of the team and are excited to welcome him back to hockey in Casper. Coach Cole comes to the Coyotes following an impressive three year tenure as head coach of Southern Oregon Spartans in the WSHL with a record of 100-44-6. Cole coached the Spartans into the Division Semi Finals all three years. Cole, no stranger to Casper, coached the Casper Wranglers and the Wyoming Outlaws from 1993-1996 where his teams had great success as fast paced, hard hitting, and highly skilled teams.
A native of Canada, Cole has coached many Junior hockey programs with great success, advancing over 130 of his players to both the collegiate and pro levels. He brings great talent in his ability to recruit and develop upcoming young hockey players. “We feel so lucky to be able to bring Smoke back to Casper. He shares a lot of the same values as us in his approach to advancing players to the next level while teaching them to be good stewards of the community,” said the Casper Coyotes owners group.
Cole will be introduced to the media and public at the Casper Ice Arena at a later time.

A 6’2″ 185lb left shot defenseman, Ross played last season with the London Raiders in the NIHL in Great Britain. Connolly will be a welcomed addition to the Coyotes organization bringing experience on the blueline.
